In the next few days I hope to work on the stories for the prompts I received during the last few prompt sessions. Some prompts are easier to write for that others, which is why it can take me a while to write the stories, but I do always complete all the prompts I receive, no matter how long it takes. This is because I have a planned session coming up on the 19th and I like to try to get all the old prompts written for before I get new ones. It doesn’t always work.
Ebooks have been on my mind the last couple of days. I have something set up I can use for ebook downloads, although I’m not sure how good it’s going to be, so the next thing I need to do is make some ebooks to sell. The plan is to have collection ebooks, multiple collection ebooks, and taster books. Taster books will be freebies and to make them I’d like anyone who reads my work to come up with a list of five to ten published stories they’ve enjoyed, send it to me via email or PM on LJ or DW, and then I’ll put those stories into an ebook. Anyone who creates a taster book will have a copy emailed to them in the format of their choice (PDF, epub, or mobi) as well as a couple of extra little bonuses to say thank you for the help. The collection ebooks will contain every story I wrote for every collection up to the 1st of January 2013. The multiple collection books are something I’m still working on, because I’m not entirely certain which collections would work best together. Any input would be much appreciated.
I also want to update the ebook for the 2011 advent story and give it a cover. They’ll be made be me, so they won’t be all arty and wonderful, but it will be better than not having any cover. Once that’s done I’m going to work on the 2012 advent story. I’ve got an idea that I think will work well for that specific story.
Alongside the Case of the Counterfeit Enchantments I’ll be writing about Kaito’s escape to Quiar. The aim is to post the first part next Friday, but the rest of the story will be donation based. If I get £1.50 I’ll post the next 1,000 words; £3.00 will be 2,000 words; £4.50 will be 3,000 words; and £6.00 will be 4,000 words. I’ll also continue the offer of bonus stories for every £5, so donate Kaito’s story and get one step closer to another bonus story (although I may stop doing the polls for them, because I haven’t had much input). Then I also plan to create an ebook for each section when they’re finished and edited, before making all the section ebooks into one ebooks, which will include all the posted bonus stories (and maybe some unposted ones).
